CYS Coordinator NF-05

Duties Provides program oversight and accountability for the performance of staff and the safety and well being of children and youth IAW Department of Defense (DoD), Army and local policies and standards.
Recruits and hires qualified personnel utilizing Army CYS Standard Position Descriptions.
Supervises program administrators and/or directors/managers; CYS Specialists, CYS Trainers and other staff assigned directly to CYS.
Coordinates management of funds and resources to include developing the annual budget for the installation CYS program that includes submission and prioritization of all program component requirements.
Establishes and maintains an active program of parental involvement, providing parent education opportunities and encouraging parent observation and participation.
Serves as Subject Matter Expert on installation child and youth services issues.
Prepares reports, surveys, and briefings for command and installation on matters pertaining to CYS.
Supports all EEO and AA objectives.
RequirementsConditions of Employment Must be 18 years of age or older at time of appointment or placement into the position.

Meet qualification/eligibility/physical/background requirements for this position.
Must have current health assessment which documents good mental and physical health, freedom from communicable disease, and immunizations in accordance with current Army and DoD policy including annual influenza vaccinations.
A one year probationary period may be required (either initially or upon conversion, if applicable).
Successful completion of annual training requirements within the prescribed time frame and demonstrated on the job competence is required.
May be subject to an irregular hours, evening and or weekends.
Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) Check.
Complete and signed DA 3433 is required prior to entrance on duty.
Travel to on and off post locations required.
Job requires working both in and out of doors.
QualificationsSuccessful completion of an undergraduate Degree that included or was supplemented by major study (at least 24 semester hours) in the fields appropriate (child development, early childhood education, home economics (with early childhood emphasis), elementary education, or other fields appropriate to the position to be filled.
ORA combination of education and experience - courses equivalent to a major in a subject matter field (24 semester hours) appropriate to the position (see above), plus appropriate experience or additional course work that provided knowledge comparable to that normally acquired through the successful completion of the 4-year course of study described above.
In addition all candidates must possess:
1.
Twenty-four (24) months of professional experience in managing at least 2 CYS programs (FCC, SAS, etc.
) to include one year of responsibility of a center based child or youth program facility.
This experience must be equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower level to include the following:
experience working with regulatory, personnel, funding, and budgeting proponents.
Knowledge of management analysis, personnel development, and APF and NAF funding and oversight relationship to CYS programs.

Ability to plan and organize work, analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data and recognize solutions.
3.
Comprehensive oral and communications skills and analytical writing skills.
Ability to present ideas and proposals to a variety of audiences.
In addition to the qualifications listed above, highly preferred applicants will possess the following:
1.
24 months experience in supervising a large Child and Youth program either in private sector of Military installation.
2.
12 months work experience in marketing and promoting CYS programs to include skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Adobe.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
