Recreation Aid (Leisure Activities) NF-01

Duties Works under general supervision of the Leisure Activities Manager.
Discusses and coordinates with Supervisor current and planned activities and events to include arrangements for special programs and related staffing requirements at Alpine Adventures to assure continuous, prompt and courteous customer service.
Provides guests with local information concerning available programs and activities, making individual reservations, answering questions concerning any aspect of operated facilities and providing prompt, courteous service in any area requested.
Must be familiar with all programs offered by the activity, as well as be familiar with local area as the job requires providing a lot of information to guests, which could also be as a tour guide.
May serve as a facilitator with the children's program providing sports and recreation activities, such as, arts and crafts, hiking, etc.
RequirementsConditions of Employment Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
A one year probationary period may be required.
Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
Must have or be able to obtain current American Red Cross First Aid and CPR/AED training certification within 6 months of hire.
Must be able to communicate in English (both written and verbal).
Possess and maintain the physical ability to lift and carry 40 pounds, walk, bend and stoop and stand on a routine basis.
Duties may involve working both indoors and outdoors.
Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.
2 and a Child Care Tier 1 background investigation is required.

EducationThis job does not have an education qualification requirement.
