VariQ has an exciting opportunity for a highly qualified Cyber Security SME to support our client in McLean, VA. Additional Information: ? Salary: Highly Competitive Security Clearance: TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly required Available: ASAP Responsibilities The Cyber Security expert shall conduct on site reviews of network architecture and security devices, and serve as a team member during network upgrades. Additionally, the contractor shall be required to perform the following responsibilities: attending technical exchange meetings and reviewing policies/procedures for flaws; evaluating the threats to information systems, to include data stored, processed or transmitted on electromagnetic media or in the electromagnetic spectrum; analyzing system policies, roles, protocols, and related technical specifications to ensure proper mitigation of threats and vulnerabilities; and participating in joint computer investigations with other offices and/or Sponsors. The Cyber Security expert shall be required to prepare briefings and respond on system statuses, incident reports and document system architectures. The Cyber Security expert shall be required to conduct on site reviews of network architecture and security devices, and serve as team member during network O&M recap efforts or select upgrades of network security appliances. Qualifications Mandatory Skills 1. Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience. 2. Minimum of 11+ years' experience in Information Security, IT networks, systems or networks. 3. Demonstrated on-the-job experience communicating to cyber security management across organizations. 4. Demonstrated on-the-job experience with Information Assurance issues and technology. 5. Demonstrated on-the-job experience with Cyber, Physical, and Personnel security disciplines. 6. Demonstrated on-the-job experience managing multiple projects within multiple management levels, oral and written with skills exhibiting assessments based on solid collected data from internal and external sources and delivering briefings before a variety of audiences. 7. Demonstrated on-the-job experience with program management. 8. Demonstrated on-the-job experience with complex networks as well as the security aspects of these networks at both the Enterprise and operational levels. 9. Demonstrated on-the-job experience with the lifecycle of networks and systems. 10. Demonstrated on-the-job experience with security management. 11. Demonstrated on-the-job experience with risk analysis and management, Information Security Engineering, system testing and analysis, and an intimate knowledge of the IT infrastructure. Optional Skills 1. Demonstrated on-the-job experience analyzing policy, systems and applications for the Sponsor or the Sponsor's partners 2. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
