Description: Engility Corporation has an immediate opportunity as a Sensor Subject Matter Expert located in Arlington, VA to provide Scientific, Engineering, and Technical Assistance (SETA) support to the Tactical Technology Office (TTO) at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). This position is a full-time direct position with benefits. This individual will provide a range of support, within their area of expertise and experience, to the Government Program Manager in developing and implementing an ongoing Science and Technology (S&T) program. The Remote Sensing SME will provide expertise in sensor applications, to include solving relevant technical and programmatic problems, assessing a variety of related foreign threats, and developing potential threat mitigation concepts. Work closely with the Government team throughout the lifecycle of the program, including coordinating with the upper management of all stakeholders Perform independent reviews and detailed technical assessments of sensor system designs and applications Provide reviews and assessments, systems analyses of applicable technologies and operational concepts, system requirements, technical and performance analyses, test plans, executions, results, and related documentation Define and develope innovate tradecraft techniques and related applications to resolve sponsor challenges Review acquisition related documents Participate in development and engineering design reviews Participate in readiness reviews Participate in the management of verification efforts for key performance objectives Participate in ground testing, flight tests, or simulations Participate in post-test analysis activities and review and analysis of test data Prepare briefs and meeting minutes Review and provide recommendations for CDRLs and other documents Respond to official requests for information and other tasks from Government clients and stakeholders Advise Government clients on incoming technical proposals and white papers Discuss new ideas for Government programs with researchers Track the progress of contracted researchers on their Government programs, including independent testing, and eventual technology transition to end users Participate in key intra- and inter-agency meetings Qualifications: Position requires an active Top Secret (TS) clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility Bachelors of Science (BS) degree in a related field, preferably in engineering, mathematics, computer science, or a related field A minimum of 10 years' relevant work experience, with at least 3 years in subject matter expert or engineering leadership positions Experience using Matlab, Modtran, IDL/ENVI Skills including signal or target detection, estimation, classification, and sensor signal processing/phenomenology are desired A demonstrated record of technical achievement in the development of sensor systems for air or space applications, including hands-on design, build, or test experience Experience with systems flying in transonic and hypersonic flight regimes Demonstrated experience on multidisciplinary teams on large, complex, multi-phase programs Ability to work in a dynamic team environment, interact with performer and customer senior-level management Working knowledge of the Department of Defense research and development and acquisition processes Excellent written and oral communications skills Desired Qualifications: Advanced degree in a relevant technical discipline or field Prior experience as a SETA Prior experience at DARPA Prior experience with programs related to national defense Ability to prepare and present technical and programmatic information for diverse audiences Developing plans, budgets, and schedules EEO Statement: Engility Corporation is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
