This position allows telecommuting but the candidate must be local to the DC metro area to meet with the clients at the VA and DC offices a few times a week. This position entails a mixture of requirement gathering, interfacing with client stakeholders to discussing various needs of the project, and hands-on work to actually get the needs met (may include, but not limited to: technical database and/or web application support, tier 3 help desk type support, accreditation support, webserver/Windows server patch installations, and system documentation). The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
