Description: Engility is looking for an experienced, DoD-cleared System Administrator professional to join our team and support Engilitys Programs and Mission in Lorton VA. The Systems Administrator will assist in the deployment, operation, and maintenance of various information technology systems. The candidate must be able to assess and prioritize emerging requirements, plan short-, mid-, and long-term needs of their supported programs, and support daily IT operations and maintenance on networks, servers, telecommunications, audio visual and other equipment. The successful candidate must possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills in addition to the technical aptitude expected from an IT professional. This position requires experience and comfort working multiple tasks and projects, supporting and securing diverse technologies, and, as such, provides an opportunity to develop greater expertise and scope of responsibility in all areas of IT. This position will be expected to provide outstanding onsite technical support and customer service for 80-100 employees and partners on location who are 100% dedicated and committed to their mission a successful candidate will be as focused on supporting the mission as those they support. Additional local travel (8-10 hours a month) to other locations in Northern Virginia/Washington DC area may be necessary to provide support, expertise, and knowledge to teammates and peers supporting related or similar programs. The position will require knowledge of deploying and maintaining Windows 7 and Windows 10 based images and software, business productivity suites, common PC applications, and ITIL principles in both a secure and corporate environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with Video teleconference solutions, managing DoD systems and networks, Information Security and compliance, and PKI. This positions requires the candidate to have and maintain a security clearance. The position is for standard business hours (8-5) with minimal scheduled off-hours/weekend required. Qualifications: - Bachelors in IT or related field with 2 years experience in a similar role (or 9 years experience without a Degree). - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Rock star customer service skills and proven ability to anticipate requirements Desired Qualifications: Looking for DoD cleared sys admin to support the DTRA programs in Lorton, and the secure government systems/conference facility there as well. Preference will be towards candidates with experience who have STIGd multiple environments especially Windows 10/Server 2012 and higher, and who can provide exceptional customer support for a very demanding workforce/Program Management team. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
