ESS Engineering Subject Matter Specialist. Seasoned in all aspects of complex integrated ESS and will provide policy, process and technical support to the design/build/sustain of large enterprise ESS for federal facilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Apply systems engineering, systems of systems engineering and platform engineering processes, as they apply to Electronic Security Systems & Emergency Management Systems. Liaise with various experts and organizations (i.e. external organizations, industry and academia technology experts) regarding the technical and programmatic aspects of ESS related programs and projects. Experience in developing program/project budgets and cost models, Bill of Materials and labor requirements Lead technical reviews of all ESS and EM projects, mentor project engineers and technicians during the execution of projects by applying process requirements to identify areas of deficiencies and develop get well plans. Evaluate technical teams to identify shortfalls in resources, provide input regarding ESS skills needed and develop optimal training strategies to train the workforce Provide a technical roadmap of future ESS technology areas, including the Chenega Security Innovation Lab, tools, skillsets and training, as well as resource requirements to best meet growth areas Maintain working knowledge of all PACS, IPTV, IDS, PSIM, perimeter security technologies and other systems and subsystems supported by the Chenega ESS product line Must be capability of ensuring all ESS systems meet the federal requirements including HSPD-12, FICAM, FIPS and other requirements as required. Non-Essential Duties: Must be a team player Works easily with internal and external team mates Effectively communicates to stakeholders about ESS and HSPD-12 design approach and alternative solutions Supervisory Responsibilities: Will supervise/mentor other engineers and project managers Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.) Engineering Degree from an accredited University, Masters a plus 8-10 years of ESS engineering/program experience. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
