SubContracts, Strategic Opportunity Support Job Locations USA-VA-Falls Church Job ID 2018-47379 Number of Positions 1 Job Function Administration Security Clearance Level Secret Full/Part Time Full Time Job Description Overview Subcontracts, Strategic Opportunity Support As we build an organization to lean into the accelerated growth of the new GDIT, a Strategic Opportunity Support team is being established to facilitate industry leading acquisition support to increase our win probability. This subcontracts position would focus on Strategic Opportunity Support. This team will be highly experienced in providing support from the Capture phase through project set-up for strategic opportunities. The subcontracts support team will establish best practices to consistently provide high quality and agile support to our growth teams. This team will be an integral part of Growth and how we win business and the leader must possess a high energy and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. ? ? Task and responsibilities in this role include, but are not limited to the following: Work with Division and Strategic leadership to drive solicitation shaping of strategic bids Will provide support, guidance and liaison with internal teams and Government/Customer interface for strategic support on GDIT opportunities; within and across divisions, as assigned/required. Manage opportunities to deliver superior support to increase win probability Establish and improve processes to enable success from Capture through Project set-up Serve as a trusted advisor to the business and growth on acquisition issues Work closely with Division Subcontracts & Contracts leadership Negotiates subcontract terms from proposal stage to project setup in accordance with relevant regulations. Coordinates approval of negotiations, contracts, and subcontracts with appropriate management staff. Provides advice and interpretation of subcontract and teaming requirements. Reviews solicitation requests to ensure compliance with terms and conditions. Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced subcontract administrators, and may have supervisory responsibilities. Maintains current knowledge of relevant contractual/subcontract procedures and practices. Serves as point of contact with internal departments concerning specific subcontract, sub/teaming questions, issues, and problems. Reviews requests for subcontract proposals and prepares sub/teaming proposals. ? Location: Washington Metro Area preferred but location Open Education Bachelor's Degree in a related business discipline or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience. Qualifications ? ? To qualify, you must meet these basic qualifications:? Bachelor?s Degree and 8-10 years of related experience in subcontracts administration in US Federal Acquisition preferred Excellent oral and written communication skills Travel Required (minimal) Current/Active Security Clearance Required, minimum Secret Understanding of business development, capture, proposal, and project set up activities Advanced knowledge of the practices, procedures, and processes involved in contracts administration. Advanced knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, terms, conditions, and policies governing assigned contracts, including FAR, DFAR, and CAS. Effective administrative and organizational skills. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
