Lead Solutions Architect with Security Clearance

Job Description Job Description CWS is seeking a Solutions Architect/Technical Proposal Writer to develop technical solutions in support of internal proposal activities. Candidates should be able ?develop solutions and translate into technical writing solutions incorporating the latest technology solutions.?? Candidate will research, analyze and implements new IT and Engineering solution capabilities and be proficient in technical writing in order to meet our business needs.? Candidate will also work with proposal management team to mentor others in the application of relevant new technologies, methodologies and tools and help lead capability to support the technical component of all phases of business development pursuits, from conceptualization and initial technical presentations, to supporting opportunity qualification in order to provide solution and support in proposals.? Key Tasks and Responsibilities ????????? Analyze proposal requests, including SOWs and RFPs, to develop requirements driven outline and technical approach; determine estimated level of effort and staffing, pricing strategy and build-up, Integrated Master Schedule and Work Breakdown Structure ????????? Create high level reference architecture documentation to meet the technology needs of proposals and key stakeholders which may include transformational IT and Engineering initiatives such as Data Centers, Virtualization, Infrastructure and Cloud Services, Help Desks, and other leading-edge technical solutions ????????? Create strategies for developing win themes and addressing business challenges and opportunities ????????? Plan maturation of company technical capabilities aligned to market and corporate experience ????????? Provide technical thought leadership and SME value to client interactions ????????? Conceptualize graphics, figures, tables, and other presentation techniques to optimize impact of information provided ????????? Evaluate new products, technologies, patterns, and approaches, and provide recommendations ????????? Participate in the creation of technical demos, briefings, and oral presentations materials ????????? Deliver responses to sources sought notices and formal requests for information from the federal government ????????? Author white papers to address customer and/or industry issues ????????? Support delivery teams in addressing customer issues Job Requirements Education & Experience ????????? Bachelor?s Degree required; Master?s Degree preferred ????????? 7+ years of experience in network operations/infrastructure/architecture ????????? Well-versed in business development and proposal technical writing ????????? Experience in government contracting ????????? Ability to both work independently and function effectively as a member of a team ????????? Excellent time management and organization skills, handling multiple simultaneous projects with stringent deadlines Certifications ????????? Relevant IT certifications are highly desired Security Clearance ????????? Candidate must be a US Citizen and should be able to obtain a US Government security clearance Other (Travel, Work Environment, DoD 8570 Requirements, Administrative Notes, etc.) ????????? Local travel in/around the National Capital Region is required ????????? The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
