Systems Engineer, Senior (Infrastructure Engineer (Lead)) - Secret Clearance Required Job Locations USA-VA-Arlington Job ID 2018-44559 Number of Positions 1 Job Function Information Technology Security Clearance Level Secret Full/Part Time Full Time Job Description Integrating, planning, coordinating, and facilitating information system related activities such as upgrade of hardware and software, program and system design development of computer network software, and implementation of internet and intranet site software. Assists in the upkeep, maintenance, and security of networks. ? Analyzing the computer and information needs of the organization from an operational and strategic perspective and determines immediate and long-range personnel and equipment requirements; ensuring the availability, continuity, and security of data and information technology. ? Recommending and supporting process improvement initiatives. Have a working knowledge of VMWare Infrastructure/vSphere; storage systems (NetApp or EMC, SAN, NAS, Tape Arrays, etc.); Microsoft SharePoint, Oracle WebCenter Interaction, and other Web collaboration applications. Perform formal software verification and test to include experience with/knowledge of automated integration and testing techniques. Perform Security Application Implementation (Websense, ISA, McAfee HBSS). ? Perform Database Administration (SQL, Oracle). Develop and debug software in a real-time, embedded, multiprocessor, multi-interface environment. Maintain security of the network and its services as prescribed by DoD Information Assurance policy and procedures. Education Minimum Education Required: ? MA/MS degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical discipline degree. ?ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: An additional six (6) years of experience with a n be substituted for a MA or MS Qualifications Minimum Experience Required: ? Fifteen (15) years of experience in a "Relevant Engineering/Science Field". Four (4) of the fifteen (15) years? experience in project planning, solution development and testing, and technical documentation writing. Five (5) of the fifteen (15) years Microsoft Exchange experience. Five (5) of fifteen (15) years? experience with Windows 2003/2008 Active Directory environments. Five (5) of fifteen (15) years? experience with core network service administration (DNS, DHCP, PKI). Experience leading small teams (25 persons or less) to perform software integration through analysis, design, development, implementation, test and evaluation of developed solutions. Documented experience in software design and development using Object-Oriented design, JAVA, and LINUX OS. Demonstrated experience with integration of and use of COTS products (e.g. Oracle, WebMethods, ClearCase). IAT Level III baseline certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M, Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program, or achieve within six months of TOA)?. Documented experience working in LINUX and Windows environments. Experience developing and debugging Java software applications (JDK, Eclipse, LEWIT, Kona). Certified as CCNA and/or CCNP and MCITP and/or MCTS. ? Security Clearance: Secret clearance required at time of hire based upon a SSBI or SSBI-PR completed within the past five years. ? ? The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
