Overview The USCG Telecommunication and Information Systems Command (TISCOM) Technology Enterprise Support Services (TESS) program provides critical services and support to meet the demands of the USCG mission. TISCOM is responsible for providing reliable enterprise IT services and responsive technical support for Coast Guard men and women around the globe as it develops, deploys, and supports the information technology (IT) infrastructure for the USCG networks for land, aviation, and sea based assets. Contract requirements include O&M of existing systems and engineering/deployment of new capabilities. USCG TISCOM mixes physical and virtual technologies through a collaboration of many different vendors. TISCOM sets precedence for IT policies and procedures for the entire enterprise, supporting over 65,000 users. Responsibilities : Responsible for the review, revision, and maintenance of technical documents, including software, systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user guides. Format and edit technical documentation for a given project?s hardware and software, including installation, configuration, and system architecture guides, as well as implementation and end-user guides for capabilities. Ensures technical documentation is accurate, complete, meets editorial and government specifications, and adheres to standards for quality, graphics, coverage, format, and style. Participates in establishing style guidelines and standards for text and illustrations. Works with technical staff to ensure that final documents meet applicable contract requirements. Reviews and edits documents developed by others to ensure accuracy and quality of content, organization, language, format consistency, and conformance with established standards. Edits documents including business proposals, reports, manuals, briefings and presentations, guidelines, flow diagrams, and other project deliverables to meet contract requirements. Provides support for contract deliverables and presentations including development of PowerPoint slides and meeting agendas and minutes. Develops and communicates standards, organization, style guides, and tools and content for technical documentation. Consults relevant information sources including library resources, technical documents, and client and project personnel to obtain background information; verifies pertinent guidelines and regulations governing project deliverables. Required Skills : Active Secret clearance Bachelor?s + 6 yrs related experience, or Master?s + 4 yrs related experience Experience with programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity within the federal government Ability to review, revise, and update operations documentation, user guides and manuals, and technical publications Ability to prepare reports and briefings for a wide range of audiences Ability to work closely with developers and engineers to produce quality documentation and training materials Ability to respond to deadlines and juggle multiple documents and priorities; flexibility in the face of fluctuating contract and USCG priorities Proficient in AP style or comparable government style guides Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint Desired Skills: Experience with SharePoint Knowledge of one or more programming, networking, operating systems, or Cybersecurity concepts #cjpost #gdjobs #dicepost

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
