NC3 System Database Specialist with Security Clearance

Join a professional team of Nuclear Command, Control & Communications (NC3) specialists supporting the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) and the Joint Staff in the Washington D.C. area. Primary responsibility is the design and management of several databases to support manual and electronic data entry, data queries, standard report generation, and data trend analysis. Develop and run applications to parse data from electronic files (Microsoft Word/Notepad) for import into databases into standardized formats. Respond to database queries from government customers and system analysts. Provide manual data entry support when electronic data import is not available or feasible. Provide requested data tables to support operational assessment results reporting. Develop and maintain a cogent system of metadata tagging to support archival storage and retrieval. Required Skills: 2+ years of applicable experience Expert level knowledge in database design and data organization Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications US Citizen with current/existing DoD Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance Desired Skills: Working knowledge of Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet) and Local Area Network (LAN) Administration Proficiency in application development for use in data extraction using Visual Basic/C++ or scripting tools Required Education: Bachelors Degree - Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
