Helpdesk Specialist (Senior)

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is looking for Senior Helpdesk Specialists (Information Technology) to support the Joint Staff J6 Deputy Directorate for Chief Information Officer / Information Technology Services (DD CIO/ITS) in the Pentagon. This office provides technology synergy and requirements assistance to the Directorates, Senior Leadership, and the National Military Command Center via a team of embedded or centrally managed Knowledge Engineers and IT support. The team enables synergy by integrating requirements, initiatives, and developments to leverage JS knowledge and information to facilitate the JS decision making process. Responsibilities include:
IT issue resolution
IT requirements support
Strategic communications
JWICS installation support

Job Requirements
Top Secret / SCI clearance
DoDI 8570.01M (IAT Level II) certification.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a curriculum or career field of study in Computer Science or Information Systems with a minimum of three (3) years of task related experience; OR an Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in a curriculum or career field of study in Computer Science or Information Systems with a minimum of five (5) years of task related experience

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
